Xippas gallery is happy to announce its participation to Art Athina 2024 with works by John Phillip Abbott, Darren Almond, Farah Atassi, Bertille Bak, Alain Biltereyst, Mathieu Cherkit, Lionel Estève, Olaf Holzapfel, Panos Kokkinias, Thomas Liu Le Lann, Marco Maggi, Dean Monogenis, Vik Muniz, Santídio Pereira, Philippe Ramette, Pablo Reinoso and Benjamin Sabatier.
The art fair will take place in a historical venue Zappleion Mansion, in the center of Athens, Greece.
During the art fair, A film (2017) by Marie José Burki will be presented in the framework of the Art Athina Video Program entitled “The Expulsion from the Garden: Humus as a Lens for Being-in-the-World”. The program focuses on environment theme, through the lens of decentralizing the human perspective and exploring the interaction between humans, animals and technology.
The screenings will take place in the Zappeion Garden and Cine Aegli Zappeion.
