MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires) dedicates a major solo exhibition to Pablo Siquier. Entitled Obsceno, the show features several previously unseen works and traces an evolution of the artist’s career between monumental paintings and smaller scale ones.

“The paintings are frontal, direct, exhibitionist. They question the viewer by their complexity and excellent workmanship, but above all, by the unfathomable mystery of the forms that inhabit them. Powerful and silent, these forms occupy an absolute foreground, generally suspended over a clean, ascetic space”.
